Receiving ORA- 20002 Error While Assigning Responsibility to a user EBS R12.1 OR ORA-20002: [WF_NO_USER] NAME=XXXXX ORIG_SYSTEM=NULL ORIG_SYSTEM_ID=NULL has been detected in FND_USER_RESP_GROUPS_API.INSERT_ASSIGNMENT

 

Solution:  error occurred while adding responsibility to a user in EBS R12.1

Can you perform the following tests and let me know the results: - Can you assign these responsibilities to other users? Do you face the same error? - Is user ABC associated with a employee/person? If so, can you go the the persons form, update some information like the title or email, save the record, update it back to the previous value, save again, then retry the responsibility assignment? Let me know if you still face issues after that ?

Go to 

ABC_US HRMS Super User responsibility > People > Enter and Maintain

Enter the person's last name (or the first few letters) and hit tab.

Find record 

Update email 

Save--

Agin update email to original email save

Done------

Go to 

System Administrator responsibility > Security > User > Define

Find record add responsibility
